Can I hang the chalkboards?
Yes!
All of our chalkboards can be hung vertically or horizontally. The Oval Chalkboard and the Wreath Hanging Chalkboard have cords to hang. The Porch Chalkboard has D rings welded into 3 corners. If you would like to hang the Porch Chalkboard, simply wrap wire or tie twine around the D hooks.
What is the material of the chalkboards?
Our sturdy high quality steel chalkboards are treated to resist rust and have a ceramic non-porous coating. The non-porous coating allows the chalkboards to be cleaned completely without "ghosting" of your past designs.
How do I clean my chalkboard?
You can use vinegar, rubbing alcohol or acetone based nail polish remover to clean your chalkboard. Apply the solvent and let it sit for 5 minutes, then use an eraser sponge (like Mr. Clean) to clean your chalkboard, then wipe with a soft rag. If your chalkboard has been in the direct sun, then we recommend using rubbing alcohol.
